Check-ups<\/h1><\/div>[vc_empty_space alter_height=”medium” hide_on_mobile=””][vc_column_text]Well-child visits make sense, as developmental delays or health impairments can be identified at an early stage. Timely treatment and appropriate support can prevent or at least reduce possible consequences for health and development. Regular visits create strong and trustworthy relationships between pediatrician, parents and child.<\/p>\n

During the visit a physical exam is performed and any necessary shots are given. We track how your child is growing and developing and talk to you about illness prevention, diet, physical fitness and health and safety issues. The well-child visit is your best opportunity to bring up any worries and questions about your child\u00b4s development and health.<\/p>\n

In Germany the well-child visits are called U1-U10 for children and J1-J2 for teenagers. The times of these check- ups differ only slightly from the time schedule of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Of course we will follow your wishes in this regard.<\/p>\n

Please bring your child’s medical and vaccination record with you.
